Why

For decades, we have been solving the towel-and-wind problem around the world with stones, driftwood and whatever other natural weights were to hand. We prefer uninhabited beaches, where sunbeds are rarely part of the scenery.

Then I was preparing for a holiday devoted entirely to the beaches of Aruba. One thing I knew about the island was that the wind was no joke. I bought these little clips, and they gave me joy every single beach day—particularly when other people’s towels went flying.
