AirFly Pro 2 Deluxe Bluetooth Transmitter

  • City
  • Children

What

A small Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into an aircraft’s headphone socket and sends the sound to your own wireless headphones. It lets you watch the seatback entertainment without wearing the airline’s headset.

Why

One day, I hope every long-haul aircraft will have unlimited Starlink and we can forget its entertainment system in favour of our own tablets—children permitting. Most of my flights in 2026 have not reached that future: underpowered USB-A ports and wired headphones are still very much with us.

This little device connects their world with mine. I plug it in where the airline headphones would go, pair my usual AirPods, and enjoy the film with headphones I actually like wearing.

The white design fits neatly into my Apple world. It can connect two pairs of headphones at once, and Twelve South rates the battery at over 25 hours—long enough for New York to Singapore.

Where

The Deluxe set includes an international airline adapter and a travel pouch.
