Leather Thermos Flask, 700 ml

A 700 ml steel vacuum flask wrapped in tan leather, with a screw-top stopper and a cap that doubles as a cup. For keeping tea, infusions or other drinks hot or cold on the move.

Why

I love tea and infusions, but even a luxury hotel in a cold climate can disappoint with its black tea. My usual brew—organic chamomile with ginger—is rather more to ask.

We once bought a half-litre Thermos from a ski-rental shop. It worked flawlessly, though I never loved how it looked or felt, and half a litre was too little. Purdey’s 700 ml version appeals as a replacement: more tea without the bulk of a full litre, and tan leather much closer to my taste.

A visit to a local grocery shop and a good flask can close the gap between the hotel’s tea selection and my own. Think of it as the water bottle’s winter sister. A walk through a snowy forest with a hot cup of my own brew is difficult to improve on.
