Crossbody Strap

What

An adjustable woven strap for wearing an iPhone across the body. It attaches to dedicated points on compatible Apple cases, rather than to the phone itself.

Why

I normally leave my iPhone bare. Paying for a beautifully made device only to wrap it in protective plastic has never appealed to me. I tried fitted leather envelopes, but each change of shape left another lovely case without a job.

Apple’s Crossbody Strap persuaded me to make one exception. A phone worn in full view is not how I would explore Barcelona or San Francisco. On a cruise boat, within an island resort or on safari, however, it solves a very different problem: a camera in one hand, sometimes a baby in the other, and no desire to add a handbag.

I’ve used it this way many times. My phone is at hand without needing to be in my hand. That is enough to earn a silicone case a temporary pardon.
